Art Tour - Connecting with Edinburgh's Spirit via Art & Coffee

£44.00

Join me for an inspiring 2.5-hour long art tour around the city of Edinburgh. I designed this unique experience being driven to introduce you to the creative personality of the Scottish capital that in a way hidden to be discovered when the time is right.

When is the tour?

You can join us for the art & coffee tour on Fridays. Check the available dates before the booking below. For private groups, different times can be arranged on request and the experience can be tailored to a special occasion.

Time - 11am - 1.30 pm.

How many people can join?

I only take small groups of up to a maximum of 6 people on the day. This experience is about the quality of the time and discussion and not about the crowd where people can barely connect with each other. Private groups can be accepted between 2 and 8 people (please get in touch via arogozhkina.art@gmail.com to discuss requirements and a minimum fee for a bespoke private tour).

What will we do?

We will visit a couple of authentic locations including my favourite smaller art galleries and art venues to get immersed in the world of local contemporary art. Not only that I am going to take you on a journey around the creative gems of Edinburgh but I will also be able to share real stories, moments, and anecdotes about life as an artist in Scotland. All you need is an open mind and appreciation of contemporary art and culture.

We will also stop over in between locations at one of the best Edinburgh artisan coffee places to enjoy a cuppa of your preferred drink (mine is an excellently brewed flat white, for example, that I am very picky about:). This will allow us to discuss what we experienced on the day.

At the end of our tour, you will be optionally invited to visit my Artist’s studio located at the outstanding Arthur Conan Doyle Art and Spirituality Centre, Edinburgh West End. I have my studio space there so will be able to take you around and briefly introduce you to my art practice behind the scenes.

What is included?

  • A beautifully brewed cup of coffee of your choice

  • Tram/bus ticket if we need to travel

  • Entrance tickets if we need to pay for a particular show.

  • A few digital images to capture the memory of the day

What locations will we visit?

I favor a range of art places in Edinburgh where I regularly get my inspiration. Typical routes that I take participants to explore are around New Town, West End, or Leith. I will select which ones to visit on the day based on a few factors such as the weather, trending shows, and themes that might occur once we meet. I do not pretend to show you places that you won't be able to find yourself but I personally find curated art tours more meaningful since they can help you relax while diving deeper without being overwhelmed. All the venues where I am going to take you are warm welcoming and inclusive spaces for all regardless of background or previous experiences.
